This picture always made me wonder about the setting. Is he strolling into court? Is it a big office? Either way, like most characters (or caricatures) from the hand of L.Fellows, the guy is clear that he is not there to screw around in any manner. I love the certainty.
I like the subtle check on the coat. The only solid is the shirt and the rest of the patterns are effortlessly melded.
...upon closer inspection, the shirt is patterned too.
