I would have been proud to take Daria to the Prom...well, actually out back of the Prom...where the fresh air intake vent was...with a couple of tanks of something interesting.
Later we could cruise around, get a couple of burgers, listen to the casualty reports on the radio.
For maximum class, I'd have colluded with her to sabotage "the heightened expectations" of one or two prom dates...
