Lest We Forget

It's been a shade over two years since the death of the King of Pop. Fortunately, Michael Jackson's regal leadership of popular culture, fashion and kinetic grace will be in bed with posterity for lifetimes

And there's still all that indelible music:

God bless him I say- whatever pain he experienced here is over. I have to say-though I hate tabloids-I saw pictures of his children just last week and they are absolutely beautiful.

One of my all time favourite tracks by The Jackson Five, besides 'Got to be there' and 'Dancing machine', is 'Everybody' from their 1980 release, Triumph.

Mike is so all over that track you could mistake it for one of those songs that were previously unreleased or didn't make it onto the final cut of 'Off The Wall'.

You're fan, no doubt, of all things exhuberant.

Michael Jackson was always my favorite... I never understood how our country treated him with such malice when he's given both America and the world his entire lifetime of entertainment.. The day after he died everyone was playing old Jackson songs in their cars as I drove in Manhattan... It was nice to hear him then as it will always be
